Bitcoin Games

Part of the portal, Bitcoin Games lets you gamble anonymously and instantly.

While may have entrenched its reputation as a news leader in cryptocurrency through its main news portal and is further noted for its discussion forum, some may not know that it also hosts a proprietary Bitcoin casino visible only as a Games link nestled on the main navigation header.

Straightforward and easy to navigate, the Bitcoin Games section offers seven games for you to wager your Bitcoin at, each holding a Jackpot of Bitcoins just waiting to be won.

Their design guys got it right with the gambling portal’s landing page on its video poker game as it stays faithful to’s overall colour scheme (yellow on gray/black). Not particularly so for some of the other games, however, as we found… unless you’re a fan of near-neon bright shades of pink and vermillion.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits are only in Bitcoin but as no confirmations are needed, you can deposit and play within seconds. Withdrawals are also instant with a small 10,000 satoshi fee, provided all your deposits have received at least two confirmations. There are no minimum/maximum amounts for either transaction.

Each of the seven games available at Games are easily accessed from the top menu. They feature regular casino games of video poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, keno, slots and dice. Each game also has a jackpot amount triggered by certain winning variations (roll six 7s on Dice or draw three 7 Diamonds on Blackjack, for example). Video Poker currently holds the biggest Jackpot at 201 BTC, while we assume that Dice and Keno must have had recent Jackpot winners as both hold less than 1 BTC together.

The games are all very easy to get into and each has a useful Help button to explain the game rules, such as minimum bets, number of decks used in the game and information on winning the Jackpot. Each bet can also be verified using the site’s provably fair mechanism and in-built verifier.

High rollers will probably delight in knowing that big wins are not uncommon at Games, as we noted 20 payouts between 18 to 20 BTC over the past two months. That, coupled with some of the lowest house edges we’ve seen in any casinos (between 0.2% to 1%), makes this definitely worth a try.

Because the games are instantly available to play without creating an account, do remember to create your own username and set a password by using Account options on the bottom left of each page. Alternatively, save the unique url given to you or you’ll lose access to your deposit if you accidentally close the page.

One downside in this casino is the lack of bonuses. There’s not even a faucet you could hit for a test bet, although there is a Test Mode that lets you play with free credits.
