Bitcoin Rush is one of the older residents of online Bitcoin gambling portals that will celebrate its fourth anniversary in 2017. The casino and sportsbook itself was a rebranding of the CasinoBitco.in gambling network that launched in 2012.
An early adopter of the provably fair feature, it claims to be the first provably fair sportsbook that also offered Blackjack. Today, in addition to their unique PvP game Bitcoin Rush, you also can find four other games to wager your Bitcoin at.
The immediate impression is that it’s definitely a home-made site, probably coded and designed in-house, as is apparent from the simple layout, with slightly disproportionate photograph images in use. This is not a flaw for us, as this does say a lot about the casino’s identity and makes it very personal. If anything their HTML5 games are great for loading speed, eliminating the delays of page preloading.
While its longstanding operation has certainly gained trust and stability over the years, some of its critical-feature designs do look dated. For example, the register, login and deposit address request button that are some of the first things you see as a new player look like they could use some simple, modern touch-ups.
One of the oldest casino and sportsbook, very custom-made, with its own unique PvP game.
No verification, hassle free deposit/withdraw.
0.1 mBTC daily “faucet”.
Great cashback system with no wager requirements.
HTML5 games load quickly and run seamlessly.
Has a dated look that might deter new players.
Sports options are mostly American sports, with Vegas-style bets, so not much to cater for international punters.
No phone support, Live Chat took a while to respond. Email support has 24-hour turnaround.
Relatively low number and volume of wagers.
Provably fair system needs to catch up with current trends.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Bitcoin Rush accepts only Bitcoin and doesn’t require any verification (even an email is optional at registration) so that’s a plus. The terms don’t specify any minimum amounts or fees, but from past support enquiries it would appear that minimum bets are set at 1 mBTC (100,000 satoshi) and no fees are levied on either deposits or withdrawals.
Withdrawals are instant so long as there is enough balance in the Hot Wallet (95% of funds are stored in offline cold wallets). Otherwise, it will take up to six hours to process.
This casino’s flagship game is its namesake: Bitcoin Rush, a PvP game that pits you against an online player. It’s a simple enough concept where you choose one from six coins valued from 1 to 6, for six rounds, attempting to have a higher value than your opponent to win the round. The player with the highest total wins the pot, minus a 1% house commission (therefore, their 0 house edge is slightly misleading).
You can also play five games at the Casino section: Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, video poker and Hi-Lo, which are quick to load and play very well. However, there aren’t any published house edges.
The American sports focused sportsbook is as simplistic as it is functional, offering custom bets in NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA Football, Basketball and Soccer. Occassionally, there are other types of bets offered, such as the hair colour of the performer at half time and other outlandish outcomes.
There are no deposit bonuses at Bitcoin Rush, but there is a rather decent VIP Comp Program that earns you VIP points for every mBTC you bet, accumulated over the lifetime of your account. VIP points earn you comp points which can be exchanged for real money. The best part about it is this is free to withdraw without restrictions, effectively being a wager requirement free cashback system.
There’s also a free “faucet” which wins you 0.1 mBTC daily if you beat the computer at Bitcoin Rush (it’s pretty easy) so that’s decent enough.
